Eight Ways to Stop Violence
1.
Look at the
behaviors and attitudes in society; think about ways violence has been accepted
in society and in your life.
2. Listen to your partner, roommate, friend, or co-worker.
3.
Be a model
for your children and others around you.
4.
Teach others
about domestic violence and sexual assault.
5.
Tell others
that violence is not acceptable, no matter what.
6.
Support your
friend if he or she is being abused; give them the FRS crisis hotline number,
and tell them they deserve better.
7.
Talk to
whoever will listen to you about violence.
8. Get involved and volunteer your time with FRS.
